The choice of raw materials is crucial and, thanks to over 70 years of experience, we have established direct relationships with producers, which guarantee quality and wholesomeness. When possible, we source dried fruit in Italy; otherwise, we import plums from France and figs from Greece. Some fruits, such as cashews from Vietnam, Brazil nuts from the Amazon and Macadamia nuts from Australia, grow only outside Europe.
The raw material is subjected to a hygienic-sanitary control in our quality office and then stored in a cold room. The roasting takes place in a large oven for peanuts and in three pans for pistachios, cashews and other fruits. We use only water and salt, without additives or oils, to enhance the quality and intense flavor of the product.
After processing, the product rests for a few hours to cool. It is then transferred to insulated tanks and then to the rolling belt for a second selection phase, during which excess waste is eliminated. Finally, the product is ready to be packaged, labeled and placed in boxes.
